This post will enhance access to Hooker’s papers through detailed cataloguing, transcribing and research on the collection and through maintenance and development of the Joseph Dalton Hooker Correspondence website, as well as participating in out-reach events to promote the life and science of Joseph Hooker.
The post is based within the Archives, which manages the institutional collection of Kew’s historic record of activities, as well as collections and other documents relating to the history of botany.
The salary will be £25,456 per annum pro rata. The position is for 18 hours per week, for one year. The days to be worked are flexible and the successful candidate can choose which days they prefer. Lire la suite
